FlexPrime opens the official FAST portal inside the app. You log in directly — your credentials go straight to the portal, nowhere else. Once authenticated, the app reads your academic data (marks, attendance, timetable) from the portal's own pages, just like you would in a browser.
All raw data from the portal is processed entirely on your device. Your marks are converted into GPA calculations, attendance is organised into subject-wise breakdowns, and the timetable is rendered into clean calendar views — all locally. No data is sent elsewhere to be processed.
Beyond the portal's raw data, FlexPrime adds layers the official system doesn't offer: grade predictions, attendance risk warnings, what-if GPA scenarios, diff detection for new marks, and personalised recommendations. These are all computed locally using your existing data.
Once fetched, your data is cached on-device so you don't need to log in every time. The cache respects your privacy — clearing app data or uninstalling removes everything. There are no cloud backups, no remote copies of your marks or attendance.
The official portal works — but it wasn't designed for daily mobile use. FlexPrime wraps that same data in an interface that respects your time, your privacy, and your need for insight beyond raw numbers. No backend to maintain, no subscription to pay, no data to mine.
